Sigita Vegytė

Sigita Vegytė (she/her) is a Lithuanian journalist and audio documentary producer at the national public broadcaster LRT.

She covers sociopolitical issues, international relations, security and defense with focus on human stories. In her reporting Sigita explores people's experience in wars, conflicts and other extraordinary circumstances. The latest works include documentaries on Russia's war in Ukraine and the migration crisis at the Belarus–Lithuania (EU) border. Some of her documentaries were presented at international festivals including the Prix Europa, the EBU International Feature Conference, and Internazionale a Ferrara. She is also a mentor at the BANGUOJA audio festival.
