Melanie Kruvelis is a writer, producer, and advocate based in New York.
She's co-creator and producer of Leave a Message After the Tone , a short-form podcast that NPR named as one of its favorite podcasts. Her writing has been published by the CBC, Complex Magazine , and Michigan Radio. She currently works as a policy analyst for Young Invincibles, where she advocates for policies aimed at lifting young New Yorkers out of poverty. She's a member of the XFR Collective and an editor of Mike Magazine , an inside-joke-turned-queer-publication. Melanie enjoys bagels, bikes, and haircuts.
