Julie Kimberly
In 2000, after travelling the world for four years, Julie Kimberly's friend mentioned that there was a job opening at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation/ABC.
She looked into the job, and the money was lousy but the timing was perfect. She needed to be working somewhere creative so she jumped at the opportunity and hasn't looked back since. Kimberly has researched and produced for both television and radio enjoying the majority of my time across Sport, Local Radio and News and Current Affairs but her ultimate role was producing documentaries for Radio National. She currently works as a freelancer making radio features.

Epic, Painful, Long, Scary is the story of 19-year-old African-Australian twins. The twins hardly remember their mother and father, who both died from AIDS-related illnesses when the boys were just toddlers.
This hour: one boy leaves home and never returns, another leaves and returns forever changed.
This hour: brothers and sisters contend with family illness.
