Jesse Ricke
Jesse Ricke is a student in the Media Studies graduate program at The New School. For over a decade, he has been working with non-profits, independent media, recording, editing, and performance, and he has found his varying interests have deepened and informed one another. Ricke composed his Third Coast submission for a course on radio production under the guidance of Joan Schuman to whom he owes many thanks.

Field recordings of a Peruvian Pentecostal church service were used as a base for this piece, with which samples from The Books were incorporated in support of the narration of a spanish folk tale about the nature of heaven and best friends.
