
Jacki Lyden
Jacki Lyden is a senior correspondent and substitute program host for NPR. She joined NPR in Chicago in 1979, on the first day the bureau opened its doors. Throughout her career Lyden has reported from many of the world's war zones in such countries as Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, and Iraq. Her work has earned her the industry's major awards, including a Peabody for coverage of 9/11.
