Heloiza Barbosa

Heloiza Barbosa (@heloizahbarbosa) is the creator, producer, editor, and host of FAXINA podcast: audio documentaries about the lives of Brazilian immigrant house cleaners in the US, and immigrant domestic workers around the world.

She is an academic researcher, writer, audio storyteller, and former housecleaner. She was born in the Amazon and first migrated to the US in 1994. She thinks that the future of podcasting sounds like women, immigrants, refugees, people of color, and queer individuals. She lives with husband and daughter in Brookline, MA.
