Chris Turpin

Chris Turpin has been executive producer of NPR's All Things Considered since 2002. He discovered the joys of radio while at graduate school in the late 1980s, hosting a late night alternative music show at the local public radio station, while also producing a monthly news magazine for the community station. Prior to joining NPR, Turpin held a variety of editorial and production positions at MonitoRadio. He also taught young broadcast journalists in the Balkans, Central Asia, Indonesia and the Caucuses for Internews, a non-profit organization that fosters open media in emerging democracies. Turpin grew up just outside London.
