B.A. Parker

B.A. Parker (@aparkusfarce) is Lead Producer for The Cut podcast with Vox Media and New York Magazine.

She began as a film professor at Morgan State University, before receiving a production fellowship with This American Life. Her stories there include “The Miseducation of Castlemont High” and “Their Eyes Weren’t Watching God.” She’s produced for NPR’s Invisibilia, which featured her essay “Love and Lapses,” as well as Gimlet’s Heavyweight. Recently, she completed a tenure as producer for WNYC’s Nancy, which included her story “All the Fine Girls be There.“ She once pressed an elevator button for Werner Herzog and won’t shut up about it.
