Anne Gudenkauf

Anne Gudenkauf is the senior supervising editor at NPR's Science Desk, which covers scientific and medical research and policy.

Gudenkauf has supervised the desk since its inception in 1980 as a three person unit, and it now includes 35 digital and radio journalists. Science Desk stories and multimedia appear on NPR news magazines and at NPR.org, as well as social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Gudenkauf has recently joined forces with NPR science correspondent Alix Spiegel and reporter Lulu Miller to launch Invisibilia , a new series from NPR about the unseen forces that control human behavior, premiering in January 2015.
