Melanie Harris is a drama producer currently developing and making work for various media through her company, Crosslab Productions. She also works as a freelancer: teaching, directing and producing. Melanie just finished directing a radio soap opera written by a group of young offenders in South London for a new company called Sun and Rain. Her real passion lies in weaving documentary with fictional stories. She was recently invited to apply for a practice-led research fellowship at Manchester University, looking at mixed genre work in radio.
