A spare and gripping account of one family's journey fleeing violence in Afghanistan. Winner of the TC/RHDF 2016 Honorable Mention Award.

Jungala Radio is an audio training program in the refugee camp in Calais, France, known as "The Jungle." There, residents collect stories about everyday life as well as testimonies of their travels. Here, resident producer Jamil retells one of those stories.

A few weeks ago we talked with the program's volunteer staff to learn more about Jungala's origins and goals, learn more in our behind-the-scenes interview.
