Let the audio fiction revolution begin! The Sarah Awards has the not-so-little goal of transforming radio drama worldwide.
The brainchild of producers Ann Heppermann and Martin Johnson, The Sarah Awards (The Sarahs, for short) will celebrate the best audio fiction from around the world with a competition, a bi-monthly Very, Very, Short, Short Stories Contest, and a podcast, Serendpity.
In this first episode of the podcast - Every Heart has a Limited Amount of Heart Beats - Ann and Martin meet by chance on the streets of New York.
What does it mean for audio fiction to have its own red carpet? Is being just a tiny bit fictional like being just a tiny bit pregnant (Ann and Martin disagree)? And who are these "Ann" and "Martin" characters anyhow? Find out... in behind-the-scenes.
