There is currently no formal treatment or support for non-offending pedophiles who want help managing their attractions.

Reporter Luke Malone met a teenager who was forced to take matters into his own hands, forming a self-help group for other young pedophiles in their teens and early twenties. Which raises the question: Why aren't we doing more to help?

Help Wanted won the Radio Impact Award in the 2014 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. It was reported by Luke Malone and produced by Robyn Semien, with editor Ira Glass for This American Life.
