Betrayed by Silence was reported and produced by Madeleine Baran and Sasha Aslanian, with editor Mike Edgerly and project director Chris Worthington for Minnesota Public Radio News.

This story won the Radio Impact Award in the 2015 TC/RHDF Competition.
