Through the years, Surjit's frustrations with his son increased until one day a major confrontation forced him to examine his competence as a father.

A Fragile Son won the Best Documentary: Silver Award in the 2007 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. The story was produced with Neil Sandell.
