Chereece Keewatin
Chereece Keewatin was a member of the Crackdown podcast editorial board.
She was a drug user activist and organizer with the Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users. Chereece passed away February 20, 2019, one week before Crackdown broadcast its award-winning second episode, “Change Intolerance”. She was a member of the Cree Nation. At the time of her death, Chereece was president of the British Columbia Association of People on Methadone.
Chereece Keewatin provided editorial support on the 2019 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition Award-winning episode of Crackdown : "Change Intolerance."
