Story

A voice collage with the words and ideas of three of my neighbors currently living near a peninsula that is about to be developed for a new minor league basketball arena, hotel, parking garage, and possibly even a nature trail in Portland, Maine.

The Invisible Neighborhood - The Making and Unmaking of Home was produced by Caroline Losneck for the 2012 ShortDocs Challenge.

Producer

Caroline Losneck is an audio producer, documentarian, explorer and lover of things wild. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and currently making home in Portland, Maine, Caroline is drawn to the lost and forgotten people and spaces. Currently working on an independent project called Portland SoundMap, she also finds time to pull things out of dumpsters and work part time at City Hall. Trained as an environmental scientist and fish culler, she really just wants to talk to people about ideas and other things.
